MEYER MUSIC

Since 1966, Meyer Music is Kansas City's home for middle school and high school band equipment, including pianos from Yamaha and other fine brands... Meyer Music and Fox 4 News, along with countless others, came together to create Band of Angels. Band of Angels is a 501c3 Charity that collects music instruments and provides them to children in need for free so they can join band and orchestra programs. We also provide scholarships for area children to attend summer music camp... Meyer Music's patriarch and matriarch, Ted and Betty Meyer, were both educators in Kansas City schools. They founded Meyer Music to supplement their income and support their family. Over time, Meyer Music became a family affair. The Meyer children began their music studies at very young ages and started helping in their parents' business when they grew tall enough to see over the front counter.
