Alla is responsible for onboarding of new clients along with back office and middle office operations. She has been working in the banking industry for over 15 years in the Client Relationship, KYC and Financial Transactions areas of a European bank. Alla has significant experience working with UHNW clients and family offices in the UK, and a passion for excellence in client service and a commitment to clients' success.
Alla holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from RICEBA, affiliated to the University of Salford and is proficient in four languages.
For Amir, founding Galilei Investment Office is the culmination of a successful career and the realization of his desire to help clients navigate an increasingly complex world. Following fifteen years as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs, where he led an award winning Private Wealth Management team, Amir wanted to be more accountable and better positioned to fulfil his clients' objectives. Amir holds an MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management in the U.S., a BA in Business Administration (Finance major) and an LLB in Law from the IDC in Israel.
Anjli has over 20 years' experience in Financial Services starting her career in Wealth Management at Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse before moving to a London-based boutique placement agent. She has a deep understanding of the industry and how to work effectively as part of team to deliver a high level of client service to UHNWIs and institutional investors. Anjli holds a BSc (Hons) in Management Sciences from the London School of Economics.
Artur is responsible for expanding Galilei Investment Office's footprint into emerging markets and for supporting our Family Office Clients in various corporate finance initiatives related to their businesses. He joined Galilei after a successful 18-year career at Goldman Sachs and over 21 years in investment banking in total, bringing to Galilei a wealth of experience across products and geographies. Artur holds an MBA from IESE Business School, Spain.
For Avi, Galilei Investment Office is a long-term commitment. With almost 25 years at Goldman Sachs behind him, he sees Galilei as a platform for the next 25 years. The decision to move from "one of the best firms in the world", where he worked as a Managing Director and a Private Wealth Manager in New York, Miami, and most recently led an award-winning London based team, was driven by his ambition to get closer to his clients and genuinely add value. Avi holds an MBA from the University of Rochester in the U.S. and a BA in Economics from Tel Aviv University in Israel.
Chris has a strong belief in the importance of building lasting relationships with clients to help them navigate an ever changing and dynamic market environment and achieve their financial objectives. Prior to joining Galilei, Chris spent thirteen years at Cazenove Capital where he was Head of Investment Strategy with responsibility for asset allocation and investment risk across the global business. Chris also headed the Endowmnet Investment Committee with a particular focus on large institutional, family office and charity clients. Chris graduated from Cambridge University with an MA in history and a diploma in international business and finance from the Judge Business School.
Dorit brings her knowledge and experience in customer service to the Galilei Investment Office.
She has worked in customer service for over 20 years in academic institutions and private companies.
Dorit's past roles encompassed building a professional, reliable, and courteous customer service system based on Customer experience, setting up and ongoing operation of CRM systems, improving processes and building work plans including the service policy label, quality and customer experience.
Dorit is committed to excellence in customer service and driven to achieve high standards in everything she does.

Doug brings 35 years' senior leadership experience across both the financial and social impact sectors. Passionate about the power of partnership, Doug enjoys working with people over the long-term to build relationships, identify goals and deliver value. Doug brings a diverse background to Galilei, including as Group Development Director of Investec Bank, CEO of The Portland Trust and UJIA and as a Trustee of several charities. He holds an MA in Middle East Studies from SOAS, University of London and BA Hons (Class 1) in Arabic Studies from the University of Leeds.
Elena is responsible for finance, regulation and providing support to the investment team. Elena began her career as an auditor with EY's Investment Management Group where her clients were funds of global investment management firms. She then worked as Financial Controller for private equity firm MML Capital Partners. Subsequently, Elena run financial, legal and compliance for a private family office. Elena is a Fellow Chartered Accountant. She also holds the CFA UK Certificate in Investment Management. Elena is committed, enthusiastic and driven to achieve high standards in everything she does.
George found his passion for investing in 2015 shortly after joining the Natwest Corporate Graduate Programme. He transitioned to Coutts Private Bank in order to hone his skills and in the seven years there moved from Graduate Trainee to Senior Portfolio Manager.
Whilst running various mandates, George's focus was predominantly on Fixed Income, where he delivered strong performance results for the £12bn in assets he managed.
George graduated from the University of Exeter in 2014 and has since become a CFA Charterholder.
Georgina brings a passion for all things operations from a diverse career which includes running a social enterprise and setting up a coworking space. Her recent 5-year tenure as Investment Operations Manager at a boutique bond brokerage and family office ignited a deep interest in the finance industry.
She has since obtained an MSc Finance with Distinction and Best Finance Student award from Birkbeck. For her undergraduate Georgina studied languages at The Open University and is fluent in Catalan and Spanish.
At Galilei, Haroon is focusing on optimising and streamlining internal operational and investment processes.
Having developed a passion for programming at a young age, Haroon has cultivated a diverse technical skillset which enables him to automate complex processes and build robust, scalable systems.
Jonathan is responsible for fund research and due diligence on alternative investments - private equity, private debt, real estate and hedge funds. Jonathan has a passion for, and deep expertise in, alternatives accumulated over years while advising asset managers and family offices in the UK, Switzerland and Israel. Jonathan holds a PhD and a First Class Honours Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from University College London. Furthermore, Jonathan has a number of academic publications in the field of mathematics and has been awarded numerous prizes and scholarships - Davenport Prize in Pure Mathematics, John Hawkes Scholarship in Pure Mathematics and Mayer de Rothschild Scholarship in Pure Mathematics.
Milena brings formidable experience and unique perspective to Galilei Investment Office where she is a founding partner and a Chief Operating Officer. Following 10 years at Goldman Sachs as an Executive Director and a founding member of the Investment Strategy Group advising families, endowments and charities globally; she was a Partner at wealth manager LGT Vestra; Managing Director and Head of Charities at Signia, a multi-family office and most recently founder and CEO of asset management boutique Monogram Capital Management. Milena was also an Independent Member of the Investment Committee of Parkinson's UK for 8 years. Milena's past roles encompassed investment management, client relationship management and business infrastructure. Milena holds a BA (Hons) in Business Administration from the European Business School, London where she was awarded a 4-year competitive scholarship. She is also a CFA Charter holder and speaks five languages.
Roy S Kuo - Chief Investment Officer
Roy brings a passion for investing and for understanding the interconnections between financial markets, geopolitics and the broader society. A willingness to think differently from the crowd and a dedication to investment results has produced a consistent record of outperformance. In addition to his role with Galilei, Roy is an investment committee member for the endowment of Nuffield College, University of Oxford. Prior to joining Galilei, Roy managed the asset allocation process and the alternative investment portfolio for the Church Commissioners for England's £9.5bn endowment for nine years. Roy holds an MBA from the University of Oxford in the U.K. and BBA degrees in Business Honors and Finance from the University of Texas in the U.S.
