The Bishop's School is for students from grades six through twelve. It's a period that we know as adolescence, a time when children go through astonishing growth and development. Nurturing students during these transitional years is at the center of everything we do. We know adolescents. We know how they learn, how they thrive, and we are here to guide them through a time that doesn't always feel straightforward or predictable to them nor to their families... In our recently-completed strategic plan, we put student well-being at the center. Why? Because students who are well can learn at their best, and our collective attention to their well-being will make it possible for them to grow and thrive. Our plan also stresses belonging. No matter who you are or where you come from, inherent in the fluid period of adolescence is a desire to belong and the importance of trusting the people around you.
