AMERICAN COVERS

American Covers Inc. was founded in 1995 by Rick Fogarty as part of the initial initiative of the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO). The company moved to a permanent facility in Harvey in 2002 and that location was expanded in 2006. After Hurricane Katrina, Rick and Terri Fogarty purchased a property in Mandeville with the intention of eventually relocating the company to St. Tammany Parish. The construction of their new facility was completed in 2014. In 2019, American Covers, Inc. expanded with a larger corporate headquarters and a state-of-the-art fabric manufacturing facility. As a result of reaching capacity, a third expansion is scheduled to begin construction in the fourth quarter of 2020. Once completed, American Covers, Inc. will have the ability to meet customer demands and future growth objectives... The vision for the company was to provide quality fabric shelters and excellent customer service to members of the Louisiana petrochemical industry...
