FOREST HOUSE - Key Persons
Adam joined the team in 2022 and has a wealth of experience in all areas of property maintenance. He is responsible for looking after all three of our branches and our garden areas. He also assists with our Health and Safety monitoring.
Aimee joined our team in January 2023. She had previous experience as an out of hours animal nursing assistant. She is very enthusiastic about pursing her goal of becoming a veterinary nurse.
Aimee enjoys emergency and critical care and anaesthesia. She has dogs, cats and hamster and enjoys cooking, shopping and long walks in her free time.
Alana has been working in small animal practice since 2011. She also has a degree in animal behaviour and has completed certificates in small animal medicine and diagnostic imaging, as she has a particular interest in these areas. Alana lives with her husband, their son and Welsh springer spaniel called Goose. In her spare time, she enjoys country walks and baking. She loves to travel and to ski and scuba dive when she has the opportunity.
Alison qualified as nurse in 2008 and joined Forest House to as our Head Nurse for maternity cover in May 2015, taking on the role permanently in 2016. Alison particularly enjoys training the student nurses and assisting with orthopaedic procedures. She shares her home with partner Mark, son Lee and many other creatures including two cats, two dogs, tarantula spiders and various reptiles including a 9' Burmese python!
Anne-Marie joined the practice in 2009 from outside of the veterinary world. She has always had a passion for animals and their welfare and now loves working in this field and cannot imagine anything more rewarding. With many years of customer service and management experience, Anne-Marie's key focus is to ensure the smooth running of the practice, and that all clients and their pets always receive the best level service and care. Anne-Marie lives with her husband, Tim, and their cats. Anne-Marie loves gardening, nature, walking and hedgehogs!
Beverley joined Forest House in June 2016 as a receptionist at our Ascot Branch. She really enjoys building relationships with our clients, getting to know their pets, and learning about their care. Beverley worked previously as a care assistant and has also attended a course in animal first aid. She has three dogs and loves taking them for walks in her spare time.
Catie joined Forest House in March 2021 and has previous experience in hospitality and customer care. She loves animals and especially enjoys building client relations and providing good customer service. She has a two dogs called Diesel and Dexter and loves walking them in her spare time.
Charlie joined Forest House is 2021 as a student nurse having previously worked in animal shelters and for one year as a veterinary care assistant. She particularly enjoys desensitisation clinics and has an interest in physiotherapy and rehabilitation. She has a Jack Russel cross called Eddie and loves painting, photography, music and surfing in her spare time.
Claire joined us a student nurse in 2010. She enjoys all elements of nursing but is particularly focussed on patient care ensuring that all the pets in our care are comfortable and happy. Claire lives with her partner Abbie and son Riley. Claire loves to travel and spend time with family and friends. She loves a long walk and going to festivals and concerts where she can.
Debbie qualified as a veterinary nurse in South Africa in 1991. After working in a variety of practices, including equine and small animal, Debbie joined Forest House in 2002, and is now Deputy Head Nurse. She has special interests in our Fit and Trim Club and Puppy Parties. Debbie married Robin in South Africa in March 2006 and has a daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dogs Sprout and Beanie.

Having joined Forest House in 1990, Donna is our longest-serving member of staff! Donna is a receptionist at our Windsor surgery, and it is the perfect job for her as it combines her love of animals, and enthusiasm for working with people. Donna lives with her husband Neil and outside of work she loves to spend time having fun with her grandchildren.
Ellie was a student nurse at Forest House and qualified in 2013. She has since gained further experience in other roles including a locum head nurse position and worked in a referral centre before retuning in 2021. Ellie enjoys supporting the student nurses, anaesthesia and in-patient care. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, Pilates, spending time with friends and family and caring for her pets.
Emily has wanted to be a vet since she was nine and realised her dream when she graduated from the University of Glasgow. She loves all aspects of being a vet but has a particular interest in medicine and imaging. As well as family pets, Emily has her own cat called Millie, a rescue, who she describes as really cute, but with a bit of attitude. Outside of work, Emily enjoys playing tennis, running and spending time with her friends and family.

Emma joined Forest House in 2020 with a strong background in administration and customer service roles. Emma assists with all the practice administration, including our pet healthcare plan and accounts. She is also now covering shifts on reception and is enjoying building relationships with our clients and their pets. She lives with her three daughters and two dogs and enjoys walking with them in her spare time.
Hannah joined the team in 2021 having previously been a veterinary care assistant, to pursue her ambition of becoming a veterinary nurse. She enjoys all aspects of her role but, in particular, internal medicine and anaesthetics. She lives at home with her dog Millie and enjoys walking and swimming in her spare time.

Imi joined our nursing team in 2019 as a student nurse and qualified with distinction in 2024. She has always had a passion for animals and is really enjoying her career in this field. Her special interests are in anaesthesia and in-patient care. Imi has two cats that she rescued. In her spare time, Imi likes to cook, travel, and play sports, especially netball. She also loves music and plays the drums.
Isabel qualified in 2008 and has worked in several first opinion practices since. Her particular interests are in internal medicine and cardiology and she has a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice. Isabel lives with her husband Dani, their son Lucas and rescue collie called Polly. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, art, dancing and enjoying the countryside.
Jade graduated from Edinburgh University and worked in Scotland initially before moving to London and joining Forest House in 2022. Jade has interests in diagnostic imaging, surgery, and internal medicine. When time allows, she is a freelance vocalist, she enjoys playing netball, swimming, and is learning to speak Spanish.
Kathy joined the practice in October 2005 and works in our Egham branch. Over the years she has built strong relationships with our clients. Kathy has a newfoundland called Paddington Bear amongst other dogs and cats at home. He also has a passion for horse riding and spends a lot of her free time with her own horse Belle.
Katie came to Forest House as a student veterinary nurse in 1998, where she completed her training and qualified in 2000. Katie has always lived locally and is proud to work at the hospital, feeling that Forest House is an integral part of her life. She is married to Will and has a daughter, Isabelle, son Harry and a cat called Flash. In her spare time Katie enjoys swimming, walking, cycling and spending time with family.
Laura joined our team as a student nurse in 2019. She had previously worked at another practice as a client care adviser and is now following her dream to become a fully qualified nurse. Laura has two guinea pigs and outside of work enjoys the gym and spending time with family and friends.
Martin qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 1986 and, after a year as a house surgeon specialising in small animal and equine surgery, entered a busy mixed practice in the central lowlands of Scotland. After three years, he emigrated south to Windsor to join Forest House and is now the Practice Principal. Martin enjoys all aspects of veterinary work with a special interest in Orthopaedics and Cattle Medicine. He also provides veterinary cover at numerous racecourses in the area. He is on the committee for Windsor Horse Show and leads the team at The London International Horse Show. He is also an FEI vet. With any spare time, he enjoys running and gardening and occasionally golf or watching rugby. Martin has two daughters, Abigail, and Rebecca. His dog, Logan, is often at the practice helping our reception team!
Penny joined Forest House in 2012. After working in the motor industry for many years, this role was a complete change. She loves animals and helping people and therefore enjoys her role as a veterinary receptionist. Penny lives with her husband, has two grown up children and four Dachshunds!
Tom graduated in 2014 as a vet, after previously completing a degree in Biology. As well as his small animal work, Tom has an interest in exotic animals. He lives with his wife and son and at home he has various snakes, some beehives, and Koi carp. He also has a small vineyard and has an interest in tropical plants.
