The Kent Cricket Club (KCC), is based in Sierra Leone, West Africa. The Club is well known for nurturing and developing young cricketers irrespective of their background. The club has made great effort over the years to promote the game of cricket in Sierra Leone... We also run a scholarship scheme- The Bob Thomas Fund- to allow our most talented players to carry on playing through their years of study. We think it is important for our children to not only improve as players with us, but become more mature and intelligent human beings too... As Cricket was introduced to Sierra Leone by the British, It is fitting that a British company, Twenty20 Cricket Company, based in Surrey has been working with the Kent Cricket Club to help develop cricket in Sierra Leone.
