Elizabeth Amaya - Founder

Job Titles:
  • Founder
Elizabeth Amaya is the founder/owner of Amaya Int'l Corp/amayaStone. Shortly after graduating with a degree in American/International Studies and Political Science, Elizabeth was introduced to the Stone Industry by Malcolm Cohen. A giant in the field (see more details below), Malcolm was a lifelong supporter of the stone industry and the MIA, Elizabeth's former employer, beloved friend, and mentor until his passing shortly after his 100th birthday in 2013. With two decades of experience and exceptional relationships with quarriers in the United States and abroad Elizabeth decided to found amayaStone in 2002, knowing its unique philosophy and work structure would make it distinctive in the field. Her hand-selected team of factories and associates embody Elizabeth's philosophy, whether they have a decade, or multiple-century, history in the marble and stone industry. amayaStone enthusiastically looks to the future to see what is possible and what other horizons can be met in the fields of interior design and architecture.
