IOM CYMRU

IOM Cymru was launched in 2011 and is led by an all Wales strategic partnership between HMPPS in Wales (including the National Probation Service and Public Sector Prisons), the National Police Chiefs' Council, and Welsh Government, delivered in partnership with key stakeholders. It encompasses four Police Force areas (Dyfed Powys, Gwent, North Wales and South Wales), working with the four Police and Crime Commissioners, twenty-two Community Safety Partnerships, seven Local Health Boards, the Wales Community Rehabilitation Company, HMP Parc and a wide range of public, private and third sector agencies... These common principles, together with strong IOM Cymru governance arrangements, allow the partnership to support the consistent delivery of IOM throughout Wales, whilst still allowing for variances in local IOM models according to local priorities and circumstances.
