CANZA was co-founded in 2023 by a diverse group of leading organizations who are deeply committed to taking action - and leveraging their extensive networks and value-chain partners - to achieve a shared vision: a net-zero agri-food system for Canada!... CANZA brings together stakeholders from across the agri-food system in support of a net-zero agri-food value chain. CANZA's action oriented agenda is focused on developing, testing and scaling innovative technologies, championing bold and transformative policy measures, and developing a national carbon market that will help enable and incentivize practice changes across Canada to mitigate 150 Mt of emissions from across the agri-food sector by 2050.
