Aaron founded OSR Physical Therapy in 2002 in Anthem, AZ. He received his BS in Biology from Graceland University in 1998, while playing college basketball. He then went on to receive his doctorate in physical therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2002. From there he worked in an out-patient clinic in Sedona, AZ and at a skilled nursing facility in Mesa, AZ while developing plans for opening OSR Physical Therapy.
His professional interests are in sports medicine and orthopedics. Aaron specializes in out-patient orthopedics as well as post-surgical rehabilitation and functional training following injury.
Aaron is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NCSA), and is active in local business groups, Chambers of Commerce, church and charitable organizations. His hobbies and personal interests include: participating in sports, fishing, spending time in the mountains of Colorado, and traveling. Aaron and his wife, Kori, own OSR Physical Therapy, and together love spending time with their children, Emma, Sophie and Maci.
In 2007 Aaron was awarded the "Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce at Anthem Small Business Person of the Year Award" for his local support of Anthem and the surrounding communities. This strong community presence and OSR's mission to provide "Quality Rehabilitation through Personalized Care," has led to the expansion of OSR Physical Therapy across the greater Phoenix metropolitan area.
Alex was introduced to Physical Therapy in high school after shadowing at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in Chicago and immediately fell in love with the profession. He has always wanted to work in the healthcare field and loved that physical therapy allows him to build lasting relationships with his clients and assist them in reaching their full potential. Alex completed his seven years of education in St. Louis MO, first graduating from Saint Louis University in 2018 with a Bachelors in Health Sciences, and then obtaining his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in Saint Louis in May 2021. After graduating, he decided to look for a new adventure where he could continue to explore his love for the outdoors, which brought him to Phoenix AZ. He found his new work home at OSR, a company whose core values and treatment methods closely align with his own. The more he learned about OSR and what the company stands for, the more he could see himself learning and growing within the company.
Alex was born and raised in the southwest suburbs of Chicago IL, within a tight-knit Polish community. His parents both immigrated from Poland in their early twenties and raised their family within the culture and traditions, which includes speaking Polish as my first language. He considers himself an avid outdoorsman, and in his free time you can find him enjoying nature while walking, hiking, running, biking, rollerblading, snowboarding, swimming, or playing soccer or tennis. When I'm not outside I enjoy cooking, playing board games, and watching movies either at home or at the theater. He also enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
Ben is originally from Illinois but decided to make the move to Phoenix in July of 2011 to start enjoying the many days of sunshine that Arizona provides. He graduated with his PTA degree from Carrington College in Arizona in 2014. Ben is passionate about Orthopedics and enjoys using manual treatment techniques to get the best results for his patients. His talent and passion for connecting with his patient's goals made him a natural fit in the OSR work family.
Outside of work Ben enjoys playing and listening to music, playing video games, and is a cinephile (particularly sci-fi, horror, action, and comic book movies)!
Betsy is a native Oregonian, raised in Cincinnati, OH. She graduated from homeschool in 2016 and immediately pursued her Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) degree at the University of Cincinnati. Graduating with honors, while at the same time playing basketball for The University of Cincinnati Cougars women's basketball team provided a well-rounded education.
Participating in competitive sports for most of her life, Betsy appreciates the value and importance of physical activity and strives to help others achieve the benefits of a healthy, active lifestyle. She has completed clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedic, skilled nursing, and inpatient care. Helping her patients return to a pain-free lifestyle, while enabling them to engage in the activities they love, is the motivation in every therapy session.
Betsy looks forward to exploring the unique beauty and diverse scenery Arizona has to offer. Basketball, sand volleyball, running and yoga are a few of Betsy's loves, along with vanilla iced coffee.
Cade is a graduate of Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Prior to his graduate program, he attended Arizona State University where he received a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology. His passion for physical therapy began in high school where he would volunteer with the school's Athletic Trainer, creating an interest in the rehabilitative process and the effort it takes to return to prior level of function for all individuals. From being in the Phoenix area his whole life, Cade had exposure to OSR and heard about their amazing reputation. After having the opportunity to learn from some of their great physical therapists, OSR became his ideal place to be.
Cade is a native to Phoenix, an avid sports enthusiast and likes to lead an active lifestyle. During the fall, he can usually be found in Tempe cheering on his Sun Devils, or glued to the TV obsessing over the players on his fantasy football team. In his spare time, he also enjoys going to the movies and golfing.
David joins Orthopedic & Sport Rehab (OSR) Physical Therapy with more than 10 years in outpatient physical therapy practice experience here in the Valley. David's professional interests include various aspects of outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation, with specific interest in golf biomechanics and golf performance. He received his undergraduate BA in Psychology from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, followed by his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2005.
David stays busy treating patients with all types of pain and rehabilitation concerns and works closely with athletes; from the casual gym member to the "weekend warrior", to the professional level competitor. David has worked with patients ranging in age from 6 years old up through 95 years old. Understanding that no two patients are alike, David enjoys the challenges of the field and works to provide the most effective, individualized care for each of his patients.
David is certified in ASTYM, Trigger Point Dry Needling, and is a Nike NG360 Golf Performance Specialist. In addition, David is trained in and utilizes Kinesiotaping in his practice.
David is married with two young sons. He enjoys playing golf, basketball, flag football and coaching his son's sports teams. He is an avid fan of Nebraska football and Kansas basketball.
Destiny is an Arizona native, born and raised in Phoenix. Her desire to help people fueled her path to be in the medical field from a very young age. She attended Gateway Community College, receiving an A.A.S in Physical Therapy Assisting. Overall, Destiny brings 16 years of physical therapy experience, with the last 6 years as a PTA. The thing she enjoys most about her job is seeing the progress patients make after completing treatment.
When she's not at work, Destiny loves to travel. She has visited some pretty fun places including Iceland, Greece, and Italy. One of her favorite things to do back home here in Arizona is find great Mexican food to enjoy with friends!
Emily grew up all over, moving 8 times as a military brat before completing her undergraduate studies at University of Wisconsin- Madison. She moved to the Phoenix area a year later to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ.
Emily has completed clinical rotations in orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric and inpatient settings. She is especially interested in working with the outpatient orthopedic population and plans to become certified in dry needling. Her primary focus is to help patients return to the activities they love, pain-free.
Outside of the clinic Emily enjoys running and hiking with her fiancée Evan, a firefighter with the Peoria Fire-Medical Dept. They recently adopted a rescue pup named Sadie, who keeps them active as well. Emily is an avid WI Badgers fan and has come to love the AZ Diamondbacks as well.
Erick received his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in Washington State. He has previously practiced and is licensed in California, Hawaii, Nevada, and Arizona. His experience in treating patients includes acute care, home health, pediatrics, and outpatient rehabilitation clinics.
Prior to completing physical therapy training, Erick graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State with a B.S. in Biology and has over 10 years of experience as a personal trainer.
Erin moved back to AZ in May 2022 after practicing in Arvada, CO since 2016. She graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ in 2013 and then worked in the West Valley for several years. She is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling and has extensive experience in manual therapy techniques including Graston. She is also a certified Vestibular Rehab Specialist working with patients suffering from concussion, vertigo and other dizziness and balance disorders.
Erin and her husband, Chad, have been married since 2007. They enjoy doing all the outdoor things: Mountain biking, running, skiing, hiking, swimming, etc etc etc. She has participated in several Olympic and Sprint distance triathlons and was a former dancer. She is originally a Midwest girl and is an avid Mizzou and Chiefs fan.
Estella is a native to the beautiful Arizona desert, born and raised in Glendale, Arizona. She is married with 3 children, and 4 grandchildren whom she loves spending time with. She attended Gateway Community College where she received her A.A.S. degree in Physical Therapy Assisting. She has been practicing in the Valley for 8 years, and looks forward to many more years of exceptional patient care.
Gretchen was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest earning degrees from the University of Washington both as an undergraduate in Psychology, and more recently, a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Gretchen loves practicing in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with a devotion to helping patients feel better, get stronger, and live their best life. She enjoys working with a variety of patients, especially recreational athletes.
Gretchen and her family recently moved to Arizona from Seattle, Washington. Gretchen was a personal trainer for 6 years and a CrossFit coach prior to becoming a physical therapist. She enjoys spending time outdoors in the sun with her 3 kids and husband. In her free-time you can find her working out in the gym, hiking, biking and enjoying a good meal with friends and family.
Heather spent her childhood in Louisiana and teen and young adult years in Tucson Arizona. She then returned to Louisiana and completed her undergraduate program in Healthcare Administration at Louisiana State University in Alexandria, La and Kaplan University. She received her doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan in Flint, MI.
Heather developed her passion for getting and keeping people moving while working as a nursing assistant in nursing and rehabilitation centers as well as hospital settings. She currently practices as an orthopedic therapist and has interests in pain management, pelvic floor and vestibular rehabilitation and enjoys working with adults of all ages and capabilities.
Heather comes from a large family and is the oldest of nine siblings. She and her husband Gus recently moved to Phoenix and reside near Moon Valley with one of their six children, their dog Leo and two parakeets named Dandi and Sam. Heather's hobbies include Ashtanga yoga, pole sport, strength training and developing yummy vegan recipes.
Originally from San Jose, Ca., Jim grew up as a high school multisport athlete. He attended San Jose State University for his B.S. in Criminal Justice and played football for the Spartans. Following College Jim started his career as a Deputy Sheriff with the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office. After a career ending injury, he decided to change his focus to Physical Therapy. Jim graduated from Sinclair College in Mason, Ohio in 2015 with an Associates Degree in Physical Therapy. He moved to Arizona in 2017 and was very excited to join the OSR family in 2021, where he knows he will have the opportunity to focus on driving results both in the clinic for his patients and making a positive impact in the community.
In his spare time, Jim enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and four kids. He loves traveling throughout Arizona experiencing the Southwest lifestyle.
Jason received his PTA degree from Brookline College in Phoenix, AZ. After his final clinical rotation in Hanford, CA, he decided to relocate from Phoenix to Hanford, CA and worked in outpatient and inpatient therapy settings, as well as a Travel Skilled Nursing Facility setting. Jason chose to pursue a career in physical therapy following personal experiences with his family members needing quality rehab. He felt very connected to the family-oriented culture at OSR Physical Therapy, and in 2020 decided to join our team of professionals. Jason's long-term goal is to become a DPT.
Jason is originally an Arizona native and is very excited to be back in his home state. He has three young sons and enjoys taking them hiking and camping to explore the great outdoors. He also loves taking his motorcycle on the open road and is looking forward to sharing riding with his sons as they grow older.
Kevin grew up in Southern California and spent 8 years in the US Navy serving as an Electronic Warfare Technician. After leaving the Navy he attended Northern Arizona University where he received a BS in Exercises Science, became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2002.
Kevin started his career in outpatient; however, he has spent the last 14 years in home health working primarily with hip and knee replacement patients. He joined OSR in July 2020 after deciding to return to his passion for sports medicine. Kevin specializes in orthopedics, balance, and vestibular rehabilitation.
Kevin has been married to his high school sweetheart, Sheri, for 33 years. They have a 16 year old daughter, Kenzie. As a family, the Garver's enjoy cooking, traveling, playing tennis, and following all Arizona professional sports teams.
