Vishal kapur Surface Design Studio was set up in 2009 by Vishal Kapur, an alumnus of National Institute of Design- Ahmedabad. He is a hardcore experimentalist with design and craft. He has been actively involved in creating innovative collections for fashion applications.The studio has created a niche for itself by creating one of a kind ensembles conceptualised with experimental inspirations and unique layouts.The designer works closely with artisans from all over India giving them fresh directions for new product development which help them broaden their vision.Traditional crafts where the studio is highly active include appliqué and badla work from Aligarh, Gota work from Jaipur, block and screen printing from Sanganer(Jaipur) and handlooms from Mangalgiri, Kota, Banaras and Chanderi... We work with handloom and handicraft artisans across the country in various craft clusters like chanderi, mangalgiri, Sanganer,, Bnaares, Lucknow and many more who keep on joining us in our creative..
