GREEN CHILDREN

Green Children is a charitable, non-government organization that works to provide basic education to disadvantaged children including the vulnerable climate refugee children living in rural and urban slums of Bangladesh. GC believes that every child has the right to learn to read and write as well as the rights of protection, health and nutrition, and space for simple recreation and play. Yet children in Bangladesh, a large number of children face a range of difficulties that hinder their development and the full realization of their rights. It is important, thus, to provide them with a good childhood otherwise denied them... Green Children strives to ensure a healthy life for disadvantaged children with a special focus on climate refugee children through providing them basic education and nutritious food, while at the same time offering a safe and suitable environment.
