Hi! I'm Niluka Fernando, creator of The Sprinkles & Crumbs Sweetery. Baking has always been a passion of mine that was fostered from a young age when I would bake with my dad. The first time I baked was when I was 5 years old. My dad was making a cake and asked me to beat the butter and sugar as he got the other ingredients ready. When he came over to check on me, he couldn't help but laugh because there I was smacking the butter with the palm of my hand instead of the electric hand mixer we had. From that day on, baking was one of my favourite past times. I've always loved the idea of mish mashing recipes to make my own little treats. Now I'm a wife and mother of two wonderful boys who bring me so much joy and happiness. I'm just trying to sprinkle a little bit of that joy in my customer's lives with my custom creations.
