During the COVID19 pandemic, the Grant Soup creator, Bonnie Walker, focused on writing grants for community-based, nonprofit organizations. As a professional Full Stack WordPress developer, Bonnie quickly tired of the messy spreadsheets her nonprofit clients were constantly providing as "previous research" - and was expected to continue to use as "project management". She looked into it, but most online tools don't analyze grant prospects based on actionable data and expect you to spin your wheels chasing deadlines - the worst way to apply for grants! So, she did what she always does and hacked her own WordPress website … and so, Grant Soup was born!...
