After more than 4 years of working in public education in Indiana and New Jersey, Meg Gilland is excited to bring her creative passion and knowledge of content creation to the Fleur de Lis Communications team. A Kentuckiana native, Meg previously served as an educator in Floyd, Greater Clark, and Clark County Schools. Over the course of her education career, Meg has mentored future teachers in college preparation programs, created and led professional developments, and advocated for student and teacher rights at the state level.

Tara Leigh Goode is a 16-year communication veteran and expert in strategic communications planning, public relations, branding, and relationship-building for governments, corporations, and high tech, data-centric start-ups and scale-ups. Her career spans the public and private sectors and focuses on highly technical concepts including complex infrastructure projects for local and county governments and the global weather and energy data industry. Because she understands tech language, she is particularly skilled at defining value propositions for specific audiences and telling the story at the heart of high-tech innovations.

After more than 10 years working in and leading newsrooms in Louisville, Zak Owens is excited to bring his market and institutional knowledge to the Fleur de Lis Communications team. A Louisville native, Zak previously served as Executive Producer at WAVE-TV and Spectrum News, as well as Associate Editor at Louisville Business First. Over the course of his news career Zak took home three Emmys for breaking news and Kentucky Derby coverage, along with multiple AP and SPJ honors.
