KARNES LAB

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Jason Karnes in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Dr. Karnes' laboratory conducts research in precision medicine, focused on cardio- and immuno-pharmacogenomics. We employ clinical and translational research approaches to determine genetic variation associated with efficacy and safety of widely prescribed medications. Work will include assessment of genomic signals in drug response through genome-wide association studies (GWAS). Researchers with both PhD and MD/PharmD training are particularly well-suited for this position.
