Aaron Sink

Job Titles:

Aaron is the Corporate Director of Business Development at HIPP. He joined HIPP in 2011 and is charged with expanding the firm's market footprint while developing new markets and focusing on client relationships. His team specializes in quickly capitalizing on new technologies to ensure that clients' products are brought to market before the competition with accelerated designs of higher quality and client responsiveness.

Alex Stone

Job Titles:
  • Project Lead
Alex joined the mechanical engineering group at HIPP in 2018 following his time as a nuclear design engineer at the Harris Nuclear Plant. While in the mechanical group, Alex leveraged the quality focus and attention to detail critical for nuclear safety to better serve HIPP clients, where cGMP compliant engineering is a key component in manufacturing safe, effective, and pure pharmaceuticals and other FDA-regulated products. Alex worked in mechanical design, mechanical engineering, and project engineering throughout his early tenure at HIPP, eventually becoming an Engineering Lead and executing projects as Engineering of Record for mechanical, piping, plumbing, and fire protection. His technical expertise coupled with a passion for client relations and multi-discipline coordination created a natural bridge into his current role as Project Lead at HIPP, where he is primarily responsible for managing project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure alignment with client objectives. Alex has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. He holds Professional Engineering licenses in North Carolina and Virginia, and he sits on the Young Alumni Advisory Board for the College of Engineering at NC State.

Allan Acker

Allan serves as the Project Director for HIPP, with a primary focus on project management and project controls. He has been with HIPP since 2006. Allan directs project design team efforts from conceptual development and scoping through detailed design and construction support. He ensures that project scope, schedule, quality, and budget align with client objectives. In previous roles, Allan served in areas of leadership training and development and has experience in microelectronic and microelectromechanical device design and research.

Andy Neill

Job Titles:
  • Mechanical Lead
Andy has been with HIPP since 2010 and serves in the role of Mechanical Engineer. He has experience in HVAC, as well as plumbing and piping design and serves a variety of market sectors including pharmaceutical, biotech, and advanced manufacturing / industrial. Andy's expertise is in the areas of mechanical design, including utility system documentation, P*ID development, and equipment specification and layout. He regularly interfaces with other discipline engineers, vendors, and clients to ensure mechanical designs meet client needs and requirements.

Bill Clark

Job Titles:
  • Process Lead
Bill has 20 years of experience in biopharmaceutical process design, development, and manufacturing. His extensive process experience is cultivated from positions held in an array of areas including late stage process development, plant engineering, manufacturing support, and leading capital projects. At HIPP, Bill is the Process Engineering Lead. Bill has a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from Penn State.

Bradley P. Millice

Job Titles:
  • Corporate Director of Quality
Brad has over 36 years of project engineer and project management experience in the pharmaceutical and general industrial industries. He has acted as a client representative for fourteen years; five of which, he managed Capital Budgets and the Project Engineering Department. Brad's particular strengths are in project management, design, start-up and commissioning of projects. As Project Director, Brad manages project design team efforts from conceptual development and scoping through detailed design and construction period support. His primary area of responsibility is to keep the project scope, schedule, quality and budget aligned with the client objectives. Brad has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is an active member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE).

Cathryn Parsons

Cathryn joined HIPP Design + Consulting in 2015 as a Proposal Manager in the Business Development Department. She then transitioned to her new role in 2018. As HIPP's Talent Acquisition Lead, Cathryn is committed to growing the HIPP teams with the best talent in the market, while ensuring that candidates have a positive experience throughout the process. Chase Jenkins

As an essential member of HIPP's mechanical engineering design team, Chase has worked on the design / renovation of cGMP manufacturing facilities, semiconductor-manufacturing facilities and heavy industrial facilities. His expertise has been vital to HIPP's success. As a Project Engineer, Chase manages the project design team efforts from conceptual development and scoping through detailed design. For his projects, he is the primary conduit for all client interactions. His chief responsibilities are to keep project scope, schedule, and budget aligned with client objectives.

Drew Garnier

With over 35 years of experience in product development, manufacturing, operations, and building construction, Drew Garnier brings a broad engineering and operations background to the team. His skills in business operations, combined with an established technical background, are reflected through engineering and management accomplishments in multiple areas of industries. Drew currently serves as Corporate Director of Operations at Hipp, directing the ongoing business operations of the company, while maintaining a strong presence in the management of projects, both in-house and on client sites.

Gray Hipp

Gray joined HIPP in 2021, bringing his architectural and project management expertise to the team. Gray earned his Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture degrees from NC State. Gray's wide range of experience, including expertise in Healthcare and Science and Technology is essential to the HIPP team as we expand into new markets and continue to offer a wide range of services to our clients. Gray is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), a LEED accredited professional with a focus on building design and construction (LEED AP BD+C), and a member of the North Carolina Healthcare Engineers Association (NCHEA).

Jarred Miller

Jarred serves as a Client Solutions Executive, bringing 15 years of business development experience to the role. Using a consultative mindset and a solution sales methodology, he has been a consistent performer in the IT and Engineering services space prior to joining HIPP in 2021. Jarred lives in Greenville, SC with his wife, Amanda, and their 3 children.

Joel Eidson

Joel has over 13 years of experience in mechanical engineering, and is the Piping Lead Engineer at HIPP. Working in a variety of industries, he has led studies, proposals, estimates, MTO, and detailed design efforts. Detailed design efforts include equipment layout, piping design, constructability planning, pipe stress analysis, specialty item sizing, 3D laser scan, and registration. Joel has done schedule development, resource planning, and physical progress reporting for the duration of projects. Joel holds a Bachelor in Science in Mathematics from Lander University and a Bachelor in Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University.

Jordan Nelson

Jordan believes in the power of branding and the importance of a "figure it out" attitude. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from High Point University in High Point, NC. Jordan's professional experience spans both customer service and marketing capacities. She has a background in social media management to direct-to-consumer and B2B customers. Jordan has been a part of marketing and communications teams in the higher education, online retail, technology, and non-profit sectors. Most recently, Jordan joined the HIPP team to help start and lead the marketing department in its efforts to standardize HIPP's brand. She is actively organizing and executing future marketing efforts that will help continue to expand our rapidly-growing company.

Michael Carter

Michael has more than 25 years of experience in project management, electrical and control systems engineering in the pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing, food and beverage industries. In his current role with HIPP, Michael manages the overall design team and the instrumentation and control systems professionals who perform engineering studies and detailed design for projects across multiple market sectors. Specific expertise within his department includes process controls (continuous & batch manufacturing), facility controls, intrinsically safe control system design, environmental monitoring, and control. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Master's in Business Administration from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Michele Minehart

Michele earned a Bachelors in Business Administration with a minor in Finance and a minor in American Studies from Salem College. As HIPP's Financial Controller, Michele implements best practices and provides analytical expertise to support our strategic vision. She brings to our team more than 15 years of experience in corporate finance within a variety of industries. As a Raleigh native, she enjoys spending time with her family in the city's many outdoor and creative spaces.

Paul Parsons

Paul is a consultative business leader with more than 18 years of experience across a variety of industries including Pharmaceutical / Biotech, Medical Device, Food + Beverage, Oil + Gas, Renewable Energy, Aerospace, Automotive, Chemical, and the Information Technology sector. Sam Newby

Sam is the IT Systems Administrator at HIPP. He joined HIPP in 2015 to take over the IT management role and is in charge of all aspects of IT for the company. He maintains existing legacy systems while designing and implementing new technologies to keep the firm market competitive in the technology space. Sam attended Campbell University where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Computer Information Systems.

Terry Prince

Terry serves as Human Resources (HR) Lead bringing more than25 years of experience to this role. Joining HIPP in 2008, Terry initially served as Human Resources and Business Development Lead. As the company grew, she focused her talents on the HR side of the business. Leading the HR Team, Terry's experience encompasses just about every aspect of HR. Prior to joining HIPP, Terry worked for many years for an engineering consulting firm specializing in the nuclear industry. She served in several capacities including roles in HR, marketing, and software development. Terry has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.

Tyler Stallings

Tyler joined HIPP in 2022 as the Project Controller, bringing with him over a decade of experience in Accounting and Continuous Improvement. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Management from Barton College, Tyler earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Mount Olive and also holds an active Certified Public Accountant license in North Carolina. Due to his combination of experience in project cost management, process controls, and senior level accounting, Tyler brings a 360 degrees approach to project controls. Focusing on earned value, scheduling, resource management, and utilization, Tyler provides the necessary support to HIPP's project and discipline leads to ensure that quality products continue to reach the client in an efficient manner.

Will Pietkiewicz

Will is a licensed process/mechanical engineer holding a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University. He has over 14 years of experience in the EPC field, responsible for projects from conceptual design through detailed design, procurement, and construction. Will is a licensed Professional Engineer in South Carolina and North Carolina. He is experienced in power generation, pulp and paper, biomass, and chemical/plastics manufacturing. As Project Leader in HIPP's Greenville, SC office, he directs the project design effort from conceptual development and scoping through detailed design and construction period support. He is the primary conduit for client interactions; his chief responsibilities are to keep project scope, schedule, quality and budget aligned with client objectives.
