GOOD NEIGHBORS

Good Neighbors Kenya was established in December 1995. It was the first field office in Africa for international relief and development programs. We undertake Community Development Projects (CDPs) aimed at empowering community members for self-reliance by targeting individual child and the community as a whole. We target the vulnerable and marginalized community members both in urban and rural parts of the country with a key focus on improving access to quality education. On the other hand, we focus on empowering the parents through Income Generation for self-reliance and to meet their needs for a sustainable community. Also, we run advocacy programs to protect human rights, especially of the child, and implement humanitarian projects for refugees with UNHCR... In pursuit of lasting impact, Good Neighbors seeks to implement a community-inclusive and holistic strategy in our operations.
