UMKIKI

Umkiki is a small workshop, located in the Lincolnshire Wolds, producing hand crafted luxury pens using natural wood and other materials... Whatever the type or style of pen, the internal components (the metal parts) are sourced as a kit. There are many different kits available of varying qualities. Umkiki only uses high quality kits from reputable suppliers. Many of our top of the range pens are based upon kits precision manufactured in Germany and these offer a quality and finish that is second to none. A lot of time, care and skill goes into making a luxury pen and that would all be wasted if the internal components were substandard... Wood is sourced and selected to suit the style of the finished pen. This could be anything from a walnut burr to a simple piece of pine. The wood is then cut into pieces. Each piece, known as a 'blank', will make a single pen.
