Brown & Brown, Inc., together with its subsidiaries (collectively,"Brown & Brown"), is headquartered in Daytona Beach with offices located throughout the United States, and has more than 10,000 teammates nationwide. In the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the Board of Directors, corporate officers, and Brown & Brown teammates became very concerned about the welfare of Company employees affected by these disasters, as well as the welfare of other hurricane victims not associated with Brown & Brown. Based on this concern, the Brown & Brown Disaster Relief Foundation, Inc. (the "Foundation") was established... The Brown Brown Disaster Relief Foundation exists today to continue supporting the needs of others impacted by natural disasters or other forms of emergency hardship.
