Professional Counselling can help you feel valued, supported, and back in control. It gives you that time and space to explore and understand your problems more clearly and focuses on finding solutions for a happier and more fulfilling life. You are respected as an individual, and you can talk freely in a confidential non-judgemental space. Your wellbeing and the reasons you come to counselling are paramount and are always at the very heart of how I work. I work with compassion and as well as using different modalities I use the science-based compassion focused therapy (CFT) as part of the work we do together. CFT draws on mindfulness, common humanity and self-kindness. This brings courage, regulates mood, leads to feelings of safety, self-acceptance and comfort. Coming to counselling can feel daunting but it is your first steps towards living life to the full and finding happiness.
