MOOSE COUNSELING & CONSULTING

I began as a helping professional in the mid-1990s as a teenager, working on a crisis hotline created by teens and for teens. Soon thereafter I began volunteering working with individuals infected, affected, and at risk of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). Working in the realm of HIV/AIDS has remained one of my primary passions, working and volunteering in that field for almost 30 years. Such work has included being the program director for HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections and diseases (STIs/STDs) prevention and education, with Planned Parenthood and AIDS Resource Center Ohio (now Equitas Health). In addition to coordination of services, I oversaw many HIV-testing clinics, events, and staff, as well as provided direct services to clients. I also spent many years as a volunteer for the State of Ohio Department of Health Bureau of HIV/AIDS, STD, TB, & Viral Hepatitis, and the University of Toledo's Medical Center... Seeking to..
