A lifelong resident of Kern County, raised in the Kern River Valley, Marietta Miller has dedicated her career to customer service. After 15 years in the fast-paced field of restaurant management, Marietta transitioned careers and applied her exceptional customer service skills to the residential real estate industry. Obtaining her California Department of Real Estate Salesperson License in 2016, Ms. Miller managed a portfolio of 550 single-family residences and multi-family complexes for a Bakersfield-based 3rd party property management firm. In 2019, she obtained her Brokers License and was promoted to the Broker/Designated Officer and Operations Manager, expanding her portfolio to 1,200 properties, and overseeing three branch offices. Looking to further her career she transitioned into commercial property management where she was responsible for approximately 400,000 square feet of the Company's commercial portfolio, before deciding to branch out on her own and create Freedom Realty and Property Management Group..
Marietta's 20 years of professional experience will elevate Freedom Realty and Property Management Group to a service first management company. The drive to open Freedom Realty and Property Management Group came from Marietta's belief that property management is not a one size fits all and relationships mean far more than transactions. Outside of property management Marietta enjoys staying active in her spare time. When not pursuing her professional achievements, Marietta enjoys her role as Team Mom for baseball, football and wrestling seasons while exploring the surrounding mountain regions of the Kern River Valley for camping and hiking adventures with her sons, Kody (2012) and Patrick (2013) their Queensland heelers Jax and Ranger and life partner Zeb Smith.
