FLINT RIVER FAMILY MEDICINE - Key Persons
Courtney is our main receptionist. She schedules appointments, gathers insurance information, and checks patients in and out. She has a wide variety of experience in customer service and is a great asset to our team.
Courtney is a native of Stockbridge, Michigan, but has lived in Alabama for eight years. She was married in April of 2014 and now resides with her husband in Holly Pond, AL. In her spare time she enjoys baking, crafts, spending time with family.
Personal: Dr. Pruitt is a native of Southside, AL near Gadsden. He is married to the former Brooke McDaniel, a native of Huntsville, and the two have four children. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, running, hunting, fishing, and playing drums in the children's praise band at his church (The Dad Band).
Education: Dr. Pruitt attended the University of Alabama Huntsville where he was a member of the Cross Country and Track and Field teams. He earned both Bachelors and Masters degrees in biology from UAH.
He then received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Lincoln Memorial University - Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM), in Harrogate, TN.
He completed his three year residency in Family Medicine at UAB-Huntsville Regional
