PREVENT SUICIDE PA

Since 2013, Prevent Suicide PA (then the Pennsylvania Youth Suicide Prevention Initiative) has been offering the PSA Contest for Youth Suicide Prevention. It began with the vision to elevate and honor the youth voice. With the guidance of an adult mentor and an understanding of safe messaging, we felt that youth would create PSAs that would best reach their peers. We were astounded by the initial entries and continue to be in awe of the creativity, empathy, and talent of the youth in Pennsylvania. We know that youth put a lot of themselves into each submission, and we value every one. All of the winning, honorable mention, and notable submissions are available for use in suicide prevention and mental health promotion. We encourage you to utilize these PSAs to reach individuals and communities in PA and beyond.
