UPPER GORDON RIVER IMPROVEMENTS

Collier County is beginning design services for the Upper Gordon River Improvements Project located in a section of the Upper Gordon River between Golden Gate Parkway and Pine Ridge Road. This project is bordered by the Freedom Park, Wilderness Golf Community, Hole in the Wall Golf Club, and the Country Club of Naples to the west and Estuary at Grey Oaks Golf Community, Royal Poinciana Golf Club, and Forest Lakes Community to the east. Each section may have varying improvements... The improvements provided by this project will enhance the capacity of stormwater flow through the Gordon River to the receiving waters of Naples Bay and improve water quality. This enhanced capacity will reduce flooding in residential and commercial developments in the basin.
