Helen has been playing the piano for most of her life. Following a Bachelor of Music Degree at Bangor University, where she specialised in performance, she did a post-graduate year at Trinity College, London (now Trinity Laban) where she studied with John Bingham... Helen has worked continually to develop her own playing by attending advanced lessons, workshops and summer schools and has given numerous recitals both as a soloist and in a duo with fellow pianist, Kate Burrows. While teaching is Helen's vocation she also loves performing and values the insights it provides when helping others with performance practice (including helping with performance anxiety)...
