Basera is a non-profit organization that strives to promote and protect the rights of the LGBTQ community. It advocates for transgender rights, anti-discrimination laws, protection against hate crimes, documentation and reporting of gender-based violence, and HIV/AIDS awareness. Basera is committed to helping LGBTQ people live their lives with dignity and prosperity... Basera Samajik Sansthan is a community-based organization founded in 2006 lead by transgender. We work to support HIV-positive individuals and protect their rights. They provide interventions to vulnerable groups like sex workers, MSM, transgenders, hijras, and PLHIVs, and build capacity within LGBT communities.
