With Fast Track to Excel/Word/PowerPoint the emphasis is on learning useful features at an efficient pace. By taking out ‘filler' topics (e.g. WordArt in Word) and removing hands on exercises (which can be done in your own time later) it is possible to learn intermediate and advanced topics in 6-8 hours... The Fast Track courses are for people who are fairly confident with the basic features of the tools but have not had time to learn the features beyond that, e.g. Mail Merge in Word, Functions in Excel, Animations and Transitions in PowerPoint.
