Aaron Ness is the Executive Vice President and Market Manager of Yankton. Bill Even joined First Dakota National Bank Board of Directors in 2024. Bill is the Chief Executive Officer for the National Pork Board based in Des Moines, IA where he is responsible for leading Pork Checkoff-funded research, promotion, and education projects on behalf of the nation's 60,000 pork producers.
Bill served as South Dakota Secretary of Agriculture from 2007 to 2010 where he managed six department divisions: Agriculture Regulatory Services, Agriculture Development, State Fair, Wildland Fire, Resource Conservation and Forestry, and Agricultural Policy.
Bill also served as Deputy Secretary of Tourism and State Development, Director of the Governor's Office of Economic Development, State Energy Policy Director, and Policy Advisor and Executive branch lobbyist for SD Governor Mike Rounds. Bill holds an A.S. in Agricultural Production from Lake Area Technical Institute, a B.S. in Agricultural Business from South Dakota State University; and a Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School.
While in law school, Bill served as Executive Editor of the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law, clerked for the law firm of Hefner and Bergkamp, P.C., and interned with the Soil and Water Conservation Society and the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee in Washington, D.C.

Cathy Clark is a 37-year veteran of the banking industry, retiring from Wells Fargo in 2017. She began her career in Worthington, MN as an Ag Lender with First Bank (which later became U.S Bank) and moved to Sioux Falls to serve in a number of positions for the next 16 years. She was then recruited to Norwest Bank (which later became Wells Fargo). At Wells Fargo, Clark served as Manager of Private and Business Banking, Bank President and finally as Regional Vice President of Commercial Banking where she consulted companies with annual revenue between $20 million and $1 billion. She is a graduate of Iowa State University and Pacific School of Banking where she graduated with honors.
Clark has served on numerous boards in the Sioux Falls community and state level. Clark chaired the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, Sioux Falls Development Foundation, co-chaired the Forward Sioux Falls campaign and is past chair of Avera Health System. She currently is a board member of South Dakota Humanities Council.
Cathy started Dynamic Consulting, LLC in 2019 to continue her passion of advising businesses.

Denis Fokken retired from First Dakota National Bank in January 2017. Denis began employment with First Dakota in 1976 as Internal Auditor, later became Vice President & Controller, and then Vice President & Senior Operations Officer. In 1992, he was named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In addition to his work with general bank operations, he was specifically responsible for overseeing the accounting and finance areas of the Bank and the Holding Company. Denis earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, with emphasis in Accounting from Mount Marty College in 1973. He worked for a Yankton accounting firm upon graduation and obtained his CPA designation in 1975. He graduated from the Colorado Graduate School of Banking in 1982. Denis joined the board in 2017.
Denis has served on a number of non-profit boards in various leadership capacities. He served on the board of trustees of Mount Marty College of Yankton for eight years and completed two terms as chair. He is a past president of Hillcrest Country Club in Yankton and serves as co-chair of the 37-year old Hillcrest Pro-Am Golf Tournament. He is on the South Dakota Golf Association (SDGA) board of directors and currently holds the position of vice president. He is also on the SDGA Junior Golf Foundation board, currently serving as treasurer. He is a past exalted ruler of the Yankton Elks Lodge and a long-time committee member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Dakota CPA Society. He was inducted into Mount Marty's Business Hall of Fame in 1995.

Denny Everson retired from First Dakota National Bank in January 2013. He joined First Dakota in 1984 as an ag loan officer. He was promoted to Vice President in 1990 and Senior Vice President in 1992. In 2001, Denny was promoted to President of the Agri-Business Division. Denny assumed the role of Director of Branch Administration in January 2010 and held that position until his retirement. Denny's responsibilities included providing leadership to the branch bank managers and presidents, and overseeing management of the Trust and Brokerage divisions of the bank. Denny joined the Board in 2013.
Denny earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Agronomy from South Dakota State University. Prior to joining First Dakota, Denny worked as Credit Operations Specialist with the Federal Intermediate Credit Bank of Omaha, in Omaha, Nebraska. Denny has served as a board member of the South Dakota Bankers Association, chairman of the South Dakota Ag and Rural Leadership board of directors, chairman of the American Bankers Association Agricultural and Rural Banks Committee, member of the American Bankers Association Federal Home Loan Bank Committee, chairman of the South Dakota Bankers Commercial Lending Committee, chairman of the South Dakota Livestock Foundation, president of SDSU Alumni Association, chairman of the Sacred Heart Development Foundation, board member of the South Dakota Corn Growers, and former board member of Farmer Mac.

Larry Ness is the Chairman of the Board of First Dakota National Bank and President of First Dakota Financial Corporation. Larry began his employment with First Dakota in August 1983 and retired in January 2023. Larry earned his bachelor of science degree in economics from South Dakota State University in 1969, and in 2010 was the recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus Award in the Department of Economics at SDSU. In 2015, South Dakota State University created the Ness Division of Management & Economics to honor Larry for his commitment to SDSU and its students. This division provides courses of study in the areas of economics, finance and management through undergraduate and graduate programs recognized within the Colleges of Agriculture and Biological Sciences, Arts & Sciences, Education and Human Sciences, and Engineering.
Before coming to First Dakota, Larry was a national bank examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. He worked at Mitchell National Bank, Mitchell, South Dakota, as a commercial lender from 1974 to 1981, and then became executive vice president of First National Bank in Volga, South Dakota. Larry served in the South Dakota National Guard and retired as a Major in the United States Army Reserve, completing 24 years of service. He also graduated from the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. In 2012, Larry was inducted into the South Dakota Hall of Fame, which honors and recognizes outstanding individuals who have shaped the fabric and culture of South Dakota.

Natalie Eisenberg joined First Dakota National Bank's Board of Directors in 2024. Natalie is the CEO of Click Rain Inc., which is the parent company to marketing agencies Click Rain and Lemonly. In her role as partner and CEO, Natalie drives the organization's commitment to being Difference-makers by positively impacting their team members, clients, and community.
Natalie has many passion projects in and around her hometown of Sioux Falls. In 2022, she founded a program in area middle schools called Power Lunch, where women from various fields share about their career and life paths with 8th-grade girls. Following the death of her mother in 2023, Natalie felt called to normalize the topic of grief through the launch of LearnAboutGrief.com. Natalie currently serves as co-chair of the Riverline District Committee, and as board member of Great Bear Recreation Park.
