In 2015, John Stubbs bought the rights to the historic Austin brand; Feeling that contemporary EVs were a bit too bland, John hatched an idea to resurrect Austin with an electric vehicle which was both a bit different and eccentrically British at its core, while keeping true to the design principles of Herbert Austin's early cars... Fabriction of the first Arrow prototype began in 2019; the car was built entirely by hand using traditional sheet metal tools and to say that designing and building a car from scratch was a learning curve would be an understatement!... The first Arrow prototype next to John's inspiration for the car, an original Austin 7 Special race car that we call 'Car 77'
