TARA is the only institution in New Zealand to offer training and assessment toward both the International Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) and International Technical Rescue Association (ITRA). Founded in 2011 Technical Access and Rescue Academy (TARA is New Zealand's oldest International Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) Training member company and along with Vertical Horizons and Headsup is one of only 3 New Zealand owned and operated IRATA Training member companies... Fire and emergency response agencies around the world now have a global qualification for technical rescue through ITRA.
