SIR Foundation is a national non-profit making and non-governmental organization founded in June 2008... Support International Resource Foundtion also known as SIR Foundation, owes its origin to the aftermath of Somalia's long running conflicts that came to the fore in the early 1990s after the collapse of the federal government, the General Siyad Barre regime. The aftermath was the massive destruction of the country's socioeconomic and political infrastructures with the resultant suffering, loss of many lives as well as internal displacements and migration in and out of the country that persist to date due to the on and off nature of the Somali conflict. The collapse of a centralized firm and strong political authority coupled with political changes in the country that prompted host of mass destruction of public and private sectors, chaotic, weak administration and absence of the rule of law saw a number of quasi political authorities in an attempt to address the arising problems and..
