Today Shepherd's Knoll operates as a vacation rental owned and managed by Jim and Lynda Dunckley. However, for many years Shepherd's Knoll functioned as a small gentleman's farm. Jim was the shepherd caring at different times for the sheep and the goats. He also cared for the hen house and domestic animals. The love and care extended to their farm family is a reflection of how they now extend warm hospitality to guests from all over the globe... Shepherd's Knoll in Red Hook, NY is ideal if you are a group traveling to the Mid-Hudson Valley or meeting up to stay together. We have a rambling ranch two family home and are willing and able to rent the whole place to those visiting Caleb & Sophia's favorite place! With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on one side and 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the other it comfortably accommodates 12-14 people and the house is fully equipped with everything you will need.
