SEA

SEA is a non-profit and non-political organization established in April 2017 to respond to the needs of returnees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and vulnerable host communities in Jubaland, South West State (SWS), and the Banadir Region of Somalia. The organization operates with its headquarters in Kismayo and sub-branch offices in Mogadishu, Baidoa, and Afmadow... Additionally, SEA has a partnership with the German development agency GIZ for a livelihood project in Gobweyn village focused on sesame oil production. This project aims to provide skills training, equipment, and marketing linkages for local farmers to enhance their economic well-being. SEA works with the Ministry of Jubbaland Chamber of Commerce (JCC) to facilitate marketing opportunities for the farmers... By offering vocational training, SEA aims to reduce unemployment, alleviate poverty, and promote economic self-sufficiency within the communities we serve.
