SECARDEO - Key Persons
Dr. Gunnar Jacobson is the CEO of Secardeo GmbH since its foundation 2001. Before, he was a Principal Consultant and the head of research teams in the areas of E-Business and IT-Security at a global player. He started his career in the field of software development in a medium sized software company where he took the technical responsibility for IT Security as a Senior Consultant.
His main working focus is on Public Key Infrastructures, Global End-to-End Encryption and Digital Signatures.
He completed his diploma in electrical engineering at the TUM in 1989 and achieved his Ph.D. in the field of authentication protocols in 1999.
Dr. Jacobson is the author of a series of scientific and technical publications and the holder of several patents. He is a member of the program committee of the D-A-CH security conference.
