I have extensive experience and knowledge on research and shaping policies and strategies for the future as well as project management and engaging with various stakeholders to achieve key deliverables. I also have previous experiences volunteering in the justice system and supporting vulnerable communities. I am excited to join Sculpt and contribute at this exciting time in the organisation's journey, as I believe in Sculpt's purpose. Orla Devlin

Job Titles:
  • Youth Programme Officer
I am excited to be part of the Sculpt team as the Youth Programme and Bookings Officer. My journey to youth work started as a young person being involved in regional and then national youth advisory boards. I experienced first-hand the impact that youth voice can have not only on organisations but on a young person's self-development. Not every young person has the opportunities to take part in these life changing experiences, but I wanted to be a part of making that happen for more young people. Through my work doing community outreach and mentoring for young professionals, I saw the gaps in employability skills and valuable work experience. Through my work at summer camps, I saw the benefits of building strong connections on young people's confidence. My role at Sculpt combines all these aspects to set up students for a future full of potential. Youth work had a huge impact on me as a young person so to be able to provide programmes for young people is such an honour. I'm so glad to be part of Sculpt's journey towards unlocking success for more young Londoners.
