The Microsystem & Semiconductor Technology Lab (MSTL) is dedicated to novel optoelectronics/electronics devices/systems/algorithms for both fundamental research and various application fields, such as biomedical, energy, AI, quantum information, etc. The group has access to the facilities for MEMS (growth, microfabrication, characterization), compound semiconductors, silicon, organic electronics, nanocrystals, etc. Therefore our researches are mostly application-driven while innovative from fundamental scientific level and multidisciplinary perspectives. The designs are not constrained by material systems and complex/novel devices can be configured/fabricated. Furthermore, given the system level research characteristics, MSTL also puts significant effort on software/algorithm side. The group is well-founded and had publications in various prestigious journals. MSTL is led by researchers with international background and industry experience. The multicultural working environment is..
