Mid-South Plumbing & Electric was started as Mid-South Plumbing in 1949, by Pierre and Juanita Latourette. A few years later the two began American Electric Supply. The plumbing part of the business which started on Johnson Avenue in north Jonesboro moved to its current location at 2600 E. Highland Drive in 1966. Ten years later the electric division relocated from its Church Street location to join the plumbing division on Highland Drive.
