At KPH, we are devoted to growing and maturing our kids socially and emotionally, allowing them to access their full intellectual potential. Our SEL supports, in addition to teaching art as "habit of mind," help our students learn to manage their emotions, set and achieve goals, and develop positive relationships while obtaining a 21st century skill set... At KPH, we, just as the panther, are looking toward a beautiful tomorrow. Our butterfly is the constant reminder that to get there, we must persevere like the monarch butterfly who migrates from Canada for 3,000 miles before reaching South America... Hermosa is a neighborhood with a rich history and a vibrant culture. At the heart of Hermosa is art. Our murals reflect our community and our culture. They are our history. We offer an art integrated curriculum as well as a performing arts program. Hermosa is a better place because of its commitment to art, and that commitment starts with KPH.
