Freedom Dance Company is a professional modern dance company comprised of a diverse mix of technically and professionally trained movers. Based out of Monmouth, Oregon, we hope to create excellent modern dance that not only moves the heart and soul, but that challenges the mind to shift its thinking... Freedom Dance Company exists to speak the truth in love in the form of dance. We aim to minister love, hope, beauty, joy, peace, comfort, life, healing, revelation, and freedom to all those who experience our work. Our choreography is grounded in biblical principles and scriptures, because we believe that the Bible is true and that "the truth will set you free" - Jesus Christ (John 8:32)... Those who have the desire to be invited to be an Intern, Apprentice, or full Company Member are asked to understand our core beliefs and values, which will be shared in writing with those interested upon request after a time of getting to know the company.
