The CHU Dumont Foundation is committed to supporting development and improving the quality of care at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, in Moncton, New Brunswick, through the acquisition of cutting-edge equipment, funding improvements to infrastructure, or supporting research efforts. Its objectives are simple: improve patient experience and ensure access to the best care possible... The Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Regional Hospital Foundation was founded in 1983 to ensure financial support to the hospital facility and, more specifically, its provincial vocation with respect to the specialized care offered there, as well as the hospital's research and teaching programs. In 2010, it became the CHU Dumont Foundation when the provincial government designated the hospital as a university hospital centre.
