DRONEFINLAND

DroneFinland is a research and innovation center for drone remote sensing. We think that powerful sensors as well as accurate and efficient processing and analysis chains are the fundamental basis of drone remote sensing. Scientific and technical expertise of our group covers photogrammetry, laser scanning, radar technology, and hyperspectral imaging and measurements... Small uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAS, UAV, drone, RPAS) open up new possibilities. DroneFinland group from the Finnish Geospatial reseach Institute FGI of the National Landsurvey of Finland has been researching drone remote sensing sensors and methods for almost 10 years. Our team includes top experts in photogrammetry, laser scanning, hyperspectral imaging and radar technology. The group is organizing the UAV-g 2025 conference on Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles in geomatics 10.-12.9.2025.
