GROUP ARLINGTON

Our mission is to provide a safe place where people with chronic pain can support one another, develop friendships, share ideas and thoughts, obtain information about their condition from professionals and each other, and learn coping skills in a nonjudgmental and caring atmosphere... We are a support group for people living with chronic pain in the Boston, MA area and surrounding New England area. Our group was founded in April, 2000 and has been meeting continuously year round since then. Once a month, we meet to discuss the challenges of living with chronic pain and offer support to each other. At our meetings, we can also hear updates on research and therapies from physicians and other professionals in the area... We are affiliated with the US Pain Foundation, which is a national, non-profit organization that offers educational materials, support groups, and advocacy for people living with pain and their families and caregivers.
