DATEV EG

The background to this activity is that Datev eG is in the midst of its cloud transformation and most development teams have to add new cloud native skills to their on-premise and mainframe knowledge. I also hold talks and workshops on the regular to promote these skills... After 5 successful years at DATEV eG I've recently changed the job for an even more attractive position at veroDIGIT GmbH. I will be consulting clients - mainly in the insurance industry - on pathways to the cloud. More information will follow..... The focus of my full-time position at Datev eG has been advising cloud native development teams on choosing the right database, including a high-performance data model, for their use cases. This also includes a code review of the persistence layer to bring it into line with a suitable index design.
