The Wellingborough Singers was founded in 1980 and over its more than forty year history has performed many of the great choral works... The Wellingborough Singers is proud to have served our community for over forty years. We are a friendly group of seventy or so singers, who work as a team and enable access to high quality choral music at low cost. This website, created by John Evitt (1941-2021), is now managed by members of the choir's committee. We are a registered charity (1188232) and a proud member of Making Music... The Wellingborough Singers, founded in 1980, meets to rehearse on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. We sing a huge variety of music and enjoy performing to an audience ... but rehearsals are great fun, too.
