UnitedCity is an appeal to come together and join an initiative that will raise funds and expertise... We are conscious that to be credible and sustainable in pursuing our aim, we need to ensure that we balance the economic and social benefits with a safe approach to population health. Our partnership has already commissioned independent research to better understand the transmission data for Covid secure commercial premises, public transport, retail and leisure. We will work with the GM health and care bodies to then better understand the local data and with The GM Combined Authority and Manchester City Council to develop a strategy to get our people back into Manchester City Centre quickly, safely and sensibly. This research will also give us actionable insights to aid in our campaigns and to negotiate with central government around loosening tier restrictions in line with this data
