Barry Goff - CEO

Barry Goff is one of the managing directors and founders of Triloma. In this role, Barry is responsible for the overall management of the firm's private equity and real estate investment opportunities and asset management activities. Barry has 22 years of experience in the alternative investments industry. As a member of the investment committee of Triloma Seniors Housing, Barry has been involved in structuring three seniors housing funds and approving the development or acquisition of eight seniors housing communities with an aggregate investment of approximately $140 million. Barry's seniors housing experience also includes his service as the former president and chairman of the board and current board member of CCRC Development Corp., a not-for-profit corporation which is developing Legacy Pointe at UCF, a 296-unit lifestyle continuing care retirement community in Orlando, Florida, in affiliation with the University of Central Florida. Barry also is responsible for the sourcing, acquisition, development, financing and operation of Triloma's restaurant portfolio, the latest restaurant platform launched by Triloma's principals. Barry also oversees the acquisition and management of distressed restaurant debt. Prior to forming Triloma, Barry served as a managing director with Tavistock Group, the private investment vehicle of Forbes billionaire Joe Lewis. During his tenure at Tavistock, Barry also served as a principal and chief executive officer of Tavistock Restaurants, where he and his team assembled and operated a portfolio of 98 fast casual, polished casual, steakhouse, seafood and fine dining restaurants comprised of 13 different brands spanning 17 states. While with Tavistock, Barry also organized and led Tavistock Capital Group, which focused exclusively on originating and investing in various U.S.-based distressed asset opportunities, and also served as a chairman of Tavistock Group's U.S. investment committee. Prior to joining Tavistock, Barry spent five years at CNL Financial Group serving as the chief investment officer and then president of CNL Restaurant Properties, Inc., where he was responsible for more than $1.4 billion of real estate investments and over $100 million of legacy equity and mezzanine funds. Barry also served as a member of the CNL Financial Group Chairman's Executive Committee, participating in strategic planning and oversight for all CNL real estate investment trusts. Also a tax attorney, Barry practiced law from 1988 to 1998 in Los Angeles and Orlando. Barry received his B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Central Florida, a J.D, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and an LL.M degree from New York University School of Law. In addition to serving on the board of Legacy Pointe at UCF, Barry also serves as a trustee for his church and is actively involved in Young Life. Barry currently resides in the Orlando area with his wife of 36 years and has four married children.

Mike Wood is one of the managing directors and founders of Triloma. In this role, Mike oversees the day-to-day operations and financial activities of the firm, while working to develop its external relationships and opportunities for new fund partnerships. Mike is the chief executive officer of Triloma Seniors Housing, LLC, managing Triloma's seniors housing investments and operations. In this role, Mike has structured three funds and approved development or acquisition of eight seniors housing communities with an aggregate investment of approximately $140 million. Mike is instrumental in the sourcing, acquisition, development, financing and operation of Triloma's restaurant portfolio, and spearheads the underwriting and closing of each acquisition transaction. Mike also has extensive experience with bankruptcy and other distressed situations and helps oversee the acquisition and management of distressed restaurant debt. Prior to joining Triloma, Mike spent 25 years in real estate and investments, most recently serving as executive vice president of Tavistock Group, the private investment vehicle of Forbes billionaire Joe Lewis, and chief operating officer of Tavistock Capital Group. During his tenure at Tavistock, Mike was responsible for negotiating, structuring and closing all restaurant acquisitions. While with Tavistock, Mike also served as chief operating officer of Tavistock Capital Group, a distressed asset acquisition group formed following the Great Recession, which among other transactions acquired the St. Regis Hotel and Residences in Buckhead (Atlanta) and partnered with the FDIC on approximately $800 million of federally insured residential real estate mortgages. Prior to joining Tavistock, Mike served as an executive officer at CNL Financial Group, where his broad range of responsibilities included acquisitions, asset management, workouts, treasury, finance and strategic planning. In his eight years at CNL, Mike also served as chief operating officer of CNL Restaurant Properties (with responsibilities for more than $1.4 billion in real estate assets) and represented the eighteen CNL Income Funds in a $2.5 billion merger with publicly-traded U.S. Restaurant Properties. Mike received his B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He chairs the board of Heal + Thrive, a nonprofit organization that empowers impoverished women in Uganda (especially single mothers) to reach long-term sustainability for their families through co-ops, literacy and wellness training and childhood education. Mike currently resides in the Orlando area with his wife of 33 years and has two grown children.

Chip is the founder and CEO of Simonson Road, LLC, a co-sponsor of Triloma's restaurant portfolio. As a co-sponsor and advisor to Triloma, Chip works closely with the Triloma team in building its restaurant platform. Chip is a seasoned hotel, real estate and construction executive, experienced in the design, underwriting, financing and operation of real estate and operating platforms, and an expert in strategic planning and managing teams.
