HAIR & SCALP SPECIALIST

Clinical Trichology is the scientific study of hair and scalp disorders. Trichologists are able to diagnose and treat problems relating to both the hair and scalp. The I.A.T Trichology course was developed at the University of California and I.A.T members need to abide by a code of ethics set by the association. Trichologists combine the knowledge of body systems, biochemistry, anatomy, microscopy, nutrition and physiology of the hair and scalp to aid the diagnosing of associated problems... I completed my clinical training in Nairobi under the guidance of I.A.T president David Salinger and my final written exam was completed in South Africa overlooked by Dr Deidre Josipovic I.A.T. As a qualified City and Guilds Cosmetologist and a certified I.A.T Trichologist I have a highly specialized knowledge and understanding of all the aspects of hair and scalp wellness... I currently have my own practice in a small, private studio in Dunkeld West Johannesburg. The studio is fully functional..
