The human connection is something I have always gravitated towards. I value genuine interactions, and the idea that small gestures can have great impact. Originally, my decision to pursue a career in health care seemed like the obvious choice, as I could combine my compassion for others, with my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Upon completing my Bachelor of Science at the University of Waterloo, my sense of fulfillment and excitement with sciences was missing. I desired to be more free-thinking and creative.
